Special Bible studies are offered during the Lent and Advent seasons. They are usually held during the week. We welcome anyone in the community to participate in these services.

WORSHIP SERVICE -

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:50 a.m. We have a traditional worship service offering a mixture of congregational singing, special music, and hymn stories giving the interesting historical background on some of our best loved hymns. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.

SPECIAL EVENTS -

Throughout the year we host special kid events such as Trunk or Treat on Halloween. This provides a safe place for your children to go on Halloween night. At Christmas time we participate in the Adopt-A-Family program sponsored by Methodist Healthcare Ministries. This program provides Christmas gifts and food for a family in need.

WESLEY NURSE -

QIGONG -

Qigong can be described as a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one's mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent.

Physically, slow gentle qigong movements warm tendons, ligaments, and muscles; tonify vital organs and connective tissue; and promote circulation of body fluids (blood, synovial, lymph). Thousands of studies have shown qigong effective in helping to heal life challenges ranging from high blood pressure and chronic illness to emotional frustration, mental stress, and spiritual crisis.

This class is conducted by Juanita Vasquez-Lopez, our Wesley Nurse and is held for one hour every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. For more information call Juanita at (210) 433-7639.
